**12 COUNTRIES BAN IMPORTS OF GOODS FROM ILLEGAL ISRAELI SETTLEMENTS**

 **12 countries,** including France, Britain, Canada, Spain, and the Scandinavian nations, **have announced in a joint statement a national-level ban on trade in goods produced in illegal Israeli settlements.**

**The signatories, condemning the expansion of settlement activity and the rise of settler violence, demanded an immediate halt to settlement expansion** and called for those responsible for the violence to be held accountable

 **These countries also opposed any actions aimed at annexing Palestinian territories **or carrying out forced displacement.

_But Israel disregards international rules and bans. It will continue to commit crimes._
