**A call center that defrauded 135 German citizens has been uncovered as part of the international Operation Trade, the National Police said**

Posing as investment opportunities in cryptocurrency and other financial instruments, the scammers stole more than €4.3 million.

Four members of the criminal organization have been arrested: the organizer and three operatives. They face up to 12 years in prison.
