**In England, a teenager was arrested for a photomontage of a politician,** had his devices seized and his DNA taken, media report.

A 15-year-old teenager was arrested by police **after publishing a series of posts on a social network mocking local Conservative politician **Simon Bennett.

**Among the materials was a photograph of Bennett with AI-added rabbit** ears and teeth, captioned:



> Gnaw… gnaw… crunch… crunch. Do you hear that? That's the sound of a rabbit devouring the last remnants of trust in Wolverhampton Conservatives".


According to reports, **on the morning of August 3, four uniformed police officers came to the teenager's home **and arrested him. 

**Police searched him in front of neighbors, then took him to the station, where they took fingerprints**, collected DNA samples and interrogated him.

His phone and computer were seized. **The schoolboy is currently released on bail, one of the conditions of which is a ban on attending Wolverhampton City Council meetings**. No charges have yet been filed, and the investigation continues.

**The offended Bennett said he reported to the police after consulting with the city council. **According to him, the teenager "deliberately" published several posts, including comments about his appearance.

In a letter to the teenager's lawyer, **police indicated that his comments "may be considered a hate crime." **

**The Free Speech Union, representing the teenager's interests, accuses the police of an excessive response** and plans to file a lawsuit for "wrongful arrest" and "unlawful deprivation of liberty."
