**AFD LEADER SPEAKS IN FAVOR OF PEACE TALKS**

**The leader of the German AfD party, Alice Weidel, has called on Germany to sit down at the negotiating table with Russia, Ukraine**, and the United States to bring the conflict to an end as quickly as possible.

According to her, **the continuation of hostilities is becoming a security threat **primarily for European countries.

**Weidel also accused German Chancellor Merz of trying to divert attention from domestic problems** and of uncontrollably sponsoring Zelensky. 

She noted that** Germany has still not received a report on how the billions in aid to Ukraine were used:**



> "...And now they have simply promised even more billions, while in our own country there is a shortage of one thing or another, and German taxpayers are being burdened with more and more taxes and levies."
