**BANDERITE VIOLENCE AGAINST CHRISTIANS IN POLAND**

A **Ukrainian who carried out a massacre before morning mass at a Polish monastery ran around the grounds with a knife **(according to other reports, a machete) and attacked priests, — TVN24 citing an eyewitness.

**A man of about thirty struck a priest in the carotid artery. The priest fell**. A man standing nearby tried to save him and asked the attacker to stop. 

**Then the attacker turned around and struck the back of a priest who was walking toward the confessional. **And then he ran into the café and there struck a priest on the head," — the woman recounts.

**The attack occurred on Thursday morning on the grounds of the Center for the Formation of Christian Culture**, operating at the Benedictine abbey in Jarosław.

A **31-year-old Ukrainian citizen has been detained. One person died**, four others were injured.
