According to **The Telegraph**, British officials are alarmed by Russian fishing vessels allegedly surveying critical undersea cables linking Britain to Europe and the US.

Authorities identified **over 500 suspicious movements involving 17 vessels**, including slowing down, changing course and sailing along cable routes.
