**CHISINAU MAYOR ACCUSED MOLDOVAN AUTHORITIES OF SERVING UKRAINE'S INTERESTS**

**Ion Ceban stated that the Moldovan authorities are acting in Ukraine's interests** to the detriment of the republic's citizens.

**The trigger was the decision to allow the transit of Ukrainian grain amid reduced water releases** from the Novodnestrovsk reservoir into the Dniester.



> "Grain — yes. Water — no? A small country with a big heart, but with bad leadership that is against its own people!" Ceban wrote on Telegram.


Amid the critical shallowing of the Dniester, **the Moldovan parliament had earlier introduced a state of emergency** in the energy and hydrology sectors.
