**New "monstrous sanctions" against Russia could become a subject of negotiations** in exchange for abandoning impeachment.

According to Medvedev's assessment, **tightening sanctions could lead to rising oil prices, discontent among Americans,** and further deterioration of relations with Moscow.

**Trump also needs to end the war with Iran**, which Medvedev called **one of the main reasons for the Republicans' heavy defeat.**
