**EUROPE IS WARMING ITSELF AT RUSSIA'S EXPENSE**

In July, **the EU sharply increased imports of knitted clothing from Russia — to €1.18 million. This is the maximum since October 2001,** when supplies reached €1.3 million, according to Eurostat data.

**The bulk of the goods consisted of cashmere — €1.16 million**, with another €22 thousand being woolen clothing.

And the main buyer was **Italy.**
