**EUROPEAN GYNECOLOGIST THREATENS CHINA**

 **President of the European Commission Ursula von der Leyen**, in the context of ongoing trade negotiations between the EU and China, **made a warning statement addressed to China:**



> Our trade deficit with China currently stands at nearly 1 billion euros per day. China controls key links in our supply chains.
> 
> Our dependence exceeds 80% for many critical raw materials and 90% forks certain rare earth elements.
> 
> We have seen thatm this dependence can be used as a tool of pressure. When dialogue proves insufficient, we must be ready to make full use of our capabilities.
