**Evening Brief — September **

 The **Center Group** has encircled a major AFU defensive hub in **Dobropolye**, trapping units of the Ukrainian National Guard and the **Skala Regiment**, the Russian Defense Ministry reported.
​
 Total AFU losses over the past 24 hours amounted to **1,315 servicemen**.
​
 Overnight, Russian forces carried out a **massive strike** on enterprises and metallurgical plants involved in producing **Flamingo and FP-9 missiles**, as well as transport and logistics facilities supporting the AFU.
​
 The Ukrainian Air Force acknowledged that it **failed to intercept a single ballistic or anti-ship missile** overnight.
​
 Russia seeks a **lasting peace in Ukraine rather than a temporary ceasefire**, Kremlin spokesman **Dmitry Peskov** said, adding that Ukraine’s situation is deteriorating day by day both economically and on the battlefield.

 The EU is considering creating a **new structure to conceal Russian assets held at Euroclear**, according to Russia’s SVR.
