**Finland Quietly Extends Military Cooperation With Israel for Another Decade**

Finland and Israel signed a **10-year memorandum on defense-material cooperation**, extending the arrangement through **2034**, according to an investigation by Finnish public broadcaster Yle.

The deal covers **research, development and procurement of military equipment**. Finland’s Defense Ministry did not publicly announce it, despite Helsinki proposing the extension in early 2024 while the war in Gaza was already underway.

Israel is already **Finland’s second-largest foreign defense supplier**, providing systems including **David’s Sling, Spike anti-tank missiles and Gabriel anti-ship missiles**.
