** Finland's €356 Million Border Fence With Russia Has Already Broken**

 And now for some **European values**: Finland's brand-new **€356 million fence along the Russian border**, which only entered service in September, has already been damaged. What a shame.

**Juri Tiainen**, project manager at the Finnish Border Guard headquarters, said the structure was damaged by **trees falling from the Russian side**.

The previous fence, meanwhile, reportedly fell victim to **rutting reindeer and moose** — presumably Russian citizens as well.
