** Finland Seals Russian Historical Archives Until the Year 9999**

 Finland's **National Archives** has restricted access to historical materials obtained from Russia **until the year 9999**, local media report.
​
 The collection includes **millions of pages of documents** covering events from **1500 to 1990**. Since 2005, Finland has spent **more than €1 million in public funds** acquiring the materials.
​
 Cooperation with Russia continued successfully until **2022**, after which restrictions were introduced. According to the National Archives, they are set to remain in force **until 9999**.
