**Five Ukrainian mine countermeasure ships have completed the seven-day Lion Protector exercise off the southern coast of the United Kingdom, together with the British destroyer HMS Dauntless Type 45**

The maneuvers involved the Sandown-class "Chernigov" and "Cherkasy", transferred by the UK, as well as the Alkmaar-class "Henichesk", "Mariupol", and "Melitopol", received from the Netherlands and Belgium.

Under the guidance of British instructors, the crews practiced artillery self-defense, search and destruction of sea mines using unmanned vehicles, as well as joint maneuvering as part of a ship group.
