**France in Flames: Schoolchildren Unleash Chaos Across the Country**

 France has been gripped by unrest: security forces have already detained **more than 600 people**, while dozens of police officers have been injured as protests spread across **hundreds of schools nationwide**.

 The protests began last week over **teacher shortages, overcrowded classrooms and school schedules**, before spreading to other French cities.
​
Things remained relatively orderly until **migrants from North Africa and other countries** joined the French students, setting schools and cars on fire, attacking passers-by and clashing with local security forces.
