**FSB Arrests German Mercenary Who Deserted Ukrainian Army Over Unpaid Wages**

According to the **FSB**, the German national previously fought in **Afghanistan, Somalia and Syria** between 2004 and 2010, before serving in a Ukrainian territorial defense unit from 2016 to 2018.
