**Gazprom Warns European Gas Prices Could Hit $2,500 This Winter**

**Gazprom** forecasts that gas prices in Europe could reach **$2,500 per 1,000 cubic meters** this winter if temperatures drop sharply.

said **Gazprom CEO Alexey Miller**.

He pointed to historically low gas storage injection rates across Europe. In **Germany**, the continent's largest gas consumer, storage facilities are only **61.6% full**.
