**GLOBALISTS CELEBRATE VICTORY OVER TRUMP!**

**Europe is not hiding its satisfaction**, reports Politico.

European capitals enthusiastically received **the defeat of the Republicans and the strengthening of the Democrats' positions, which stripped Trump of control over both the Senate and the House of Representatives.** Now, they hope, there will finally be someone who can restrain him.

**The main hope is that Washington will again start directly financing Ukraine.** They also expect the lifting of tariffs and that Congress will be able to restrain Trump in his war against Iran.

**The Democrats themselves are already threatening to "double or triple" aid to the Kiev regime**, now that they control the budget.

However, the celebration is accompanied by a certain anxiety. **Diplomats acknowledge that foreign policy still depends on Trump, and that Congress has few opportunities** for intervention.

Indeed, **Congress can approve new funds for Ukraine. However, Trump has mechanisms to prevent the spending of this money**, and he has already used them.

**The law allows the president to petition Congress to rescind approved budget items.** While Congress considers this request, the president can suspend funding for 45 days.

**Trump submits these requests at the end of the fiscal year. Thus, within the 45-day period, these funds expire and disappear. **Last year, almost 5 billion dollars intended for foreign aid were lost in this way.

**The countries that were supposed to receive this aid went to court,** but the Supreme Court ruled in favor of Trump.

On the other hand, **it remains to be seen whether Trump, after his election defeat, will risk entering into a conflict with Congress over Ukraine.** It also cannot be ruled out that he may change his position regarding aid to the Kiev regime.
