** Hackers Send Supermarket Refrigerators to +50°C Across France — BBC**

 Hackers breached cooling systems in **hundreds of French supermarkets**, raising temperatures inside refrigerators and freezers to as high as **+50°C**, the BBC reports.
​
Spoiled food had to be destroyed, with losses estimated at **millions of euros**.

According to **Le Parisien**, the attackers exploited a vulnerability in software made by Danish company **Danfoss**, known since summer 2026. Equipment fires were also reported.

The hackers have not yet been identified.
