**IN WESTERN UKRAINE, AN  EX-SERVICEMAN OF AFU WAS ATTACKED**

In Lvov, **about twenty men in masks attacked a veteran and historian who was going to give a lecture on the leftist movement in the city**, the cultural organization INDEX reports.

Vladyslav Starodubtsev himself said that **at the entrance to the premises where the lecture was to take place, a group of men approached him** with the words:



> "You will not hold this lecture here. People like you are not welcome here. Leave Lvov."


**Vladyslav says he was beaten and then demanded to apologize. **He went to the police.

**Starodubtsev signed a one-year contract with the AFU at the age of 22 and left the service in April 2026. **It is not yet known who exactly attacked the historian.

 Judging by everything, **these are representatives of right-wing movements who periodically "harass" leftists** in various cities of Ukraine.
