**Latvia Reports Sabotage of Border Surveillance Systems**

 Cables have been cut and surveillance cameras disabled along **Latvia’s eastern border with Russia and Belarus**.
​
 Authorities say distribution boxes, cameras and other equipment have also been damaged.
​
 Latvia’s Border Guard said the incidents appear to be **deliberate attempts to disrupt the surveillance system**, rather than random vandalism.
​
 Those responsible have **not yet been identified**.
