**NABU REVEALED DETAILS OF OPERATION "CARTHAGE"**

"**There everything is broken… Legs were lying around like rags,**" — this is how members of an organized crime group under the "roof" of Ukrainian security forces discussed the brutal beating of another victim.

According to NABU, **three men in masks ambushed the victim near a gym. While two held him, a third struck him with a metal pipe. **But the attack was preceded by weeks of surveillance — with the assistance of police officers.

**The investigation claims that the criminals received information from closed databases**, **tracked victims through cameras of the "Safe City" **system, and learned about the progress of investigations almost in real time. 

It is assumed **that access to the data was provided, among others, by SBU officers.**

**The group is linked to fraudulent call centers and the "KhimProm" drug network, which has been operating since 2014**. Among the alleged leaders are criminal authorities with the nicknames "Kriminal" and "Mexican."
