Follow the Money: **The Dutch Ministry of Defense handed contracts to a dubious arms dealer.**

The country's Ministry of Defense **handed entrepreneur Martijn Walraven contracts for the supply of vessels and weapons for Ukraine** worth at least €200 million.

After his company DTS Armory had its license revoked, **the contract was transferred to another company — Aurexys, which is behind the same Walraven.**

According to the investigation, **Walraven was previously declared bankrupt, has debts and criminal records**, and his company was under criminal investigation.

After the license was revoked, the Ministry of Defense told parliament that **the contracts "passed to another company," but it turned out to be the same structure with the same owner.**



> "Simply continuing business with the same dubious dealer through a different scheme is reprehensible," the publication quotes MP Annabel Nanninga as saying.
