Russian Security Council Deputy Chairman **Dmitry Medvedev reminded Sikorski of the history of Russian-Polish conflicts**



> Polish Foreign Minister Sikorski proudly declared: "We have been fighting the Russians since before the United States even existed."

> This is partly fair, but he forgot to add "and we lose every time." That was the case in 1612. And so it continued – during the "partitions of Poland" in the 18th, 19th and 20th centuries.
