At a meeting with Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian in the Kremlin, **Vladimir Putin noted the growth of trade turnover between the two countries and the continuation of work on the construction of the Bushehr Nuclear Power Plant.**

**The Russian leader also expressed hope for a positive development of the situation** in the Middle East.
For his part, **Pezeshkian thanked Moscow for the support that Russia provides to Iran.**
