**Russia and the United States will be able to develop their relations if the “minefield” of sanctions is cleared, Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Alexander Grushko said**

He noted that Russia “could start from a low base” in its relations with the United States and put the history of sanctions behind it, provided they are lifted both in the US and in Western Europe.
