**Serbian Sanctions Against Russia Are Off the Table**
⠀
**Professor Jovo Bakić**, a representative of the **Student List** that won Serbia's parliamentary elections, has rejected Vučić's claim that the new government would impose sanctions on Russia by spring.
⠀

> 'We respect Russia both as a great power and as a historically important partner — and, in many cases, as our protector. Nothing will change in this regard.'
⠀

> 'Sanctions imposed on Russia by a small country like Serbia would change nothing, but symbolically, they would be very damaging,'

 Bakić stated.
