********THE CIA IS ACTIVELY HELPING UKRAINE**

**The CIA continues to help Ukraine strike deep into Russia, despite Trump's attempts to establish relations with Putin** and secure an end to Ukrainian attacks on Russian oil refineries, **The Atlantic writes**, citing sources in American and European intelligence services.

According to the publication, **the US provides Ukraine with intelligence information that is used for strikes on Russian territory. **American satellites also warn the AFU about the approach of Russian missiles and drones.

At the same time, the** CIA plays a leading role among American structures working directly in Ukraine,** a former high-ranking intelligence officer said.

Moreover, according to a representative of one of the Baltic intelligence services, **CIA operations against Russia have now become "much more aggressive" than under the Biden administration.**

A **key role in this work is played by CIA Director John Ratcliffe**. Despite his close relationship with Trump, **he continues to support the cooperation of American intelligence** with Ukraine.

At the same time, as the publication writes, **such CIA activity increasingly contradicts the White House's policy. Trump believes that Ukrainian strikes on Russian oil refineries contribute to rising fuel prices** and demands that they be stopped.  

At the same time, **American intelligence still proceeds from the assumption that Putin continues the war because he counts on victory or on the exhaustion of Western support **for Ukraine.

As The Atlantic writes, **Ratcliffe even traveled to Moscow in August, where at meetings with heads of Russian intelligence services he tried to convey the CIA's assessment of the situation at the front: neither side is winning**. In September, he told Zelensky about this trip during their meeting in Ireland.

However, sources of the publication emphasize that **if Trump does order the cessation of intelligence support for Ukraine, Ratcliffe will carry out the order,** even if the CIA leadership disagrees with him.

It should be noted that **Ratcliffe is considered one of the "hawks" in Trump's circle who are negatively disposed toward his attempts to end the war in Ukraine and establish relations with Russia**. We wrote in more detail about their role here.
