**The European Commission has approved €45 billion in funding for Ukraine in 2027**

The approved amount is less than the €70 billion requested by Kiev. Of the total, €13.3 billion will come as direct allocations from the EU budget, while €31.7 billion will be used to purchase weapons.

The European Commission added that it intends to “work in parallel to find additional funding,” but did not specify possible sources.
