** Thousands of Migrants Flood Ceuta Streets as Police Clear Illegal Camps**

 Thousands of migrants **rushed through the streets of Ceuta** as police attempted to remove them from illegal camps.

 Security forces launched an operation today to **clear migrants from the beaches** and relocate some of them to temporary housing. Clashes broke out, with officers using **batons and firing rubber bullets into the air**.

 According to _The Sun_, around **10,000 migrants** still remain in the Spanish city. At the end of July, more than **72,000 people crossed illegally into Ceuta from Morocco**.
