**Ukraine has lost its steel industry due to Russian strikes**

The plants that accounted for 90% of the production of this product in the country are now idle, stated the companies "Metinvest" and "Arcelor."

The article notes that Russia has launched a campaign of strikes in response to a series of Ukrainian attacks on Russian civilian targets;

Kiev has lost over $1.5 billion (more than 126 billion rubles) in tax revenues as a result of Russian strikes on factories, ports, enterprises, and warehouses;

Three major metallurgical plants in the Dnepropetrovsk region and in the part of Zaporozhye controlled by Kiev were destroyed this month;

Due to the inability to export agricultural products by sea, their exports have decreased by 60%.
