**UKRAINE IS ALREADY SPENDING ABOUT $190 MILLION A DAY ON THE CONFLICT**

**Back in 2024, Kiev's appetites cost $140 million a day. Now the price tag has grown due to the bloating of the AFU's staffing**, colossal ammunition consumption, and payments.

**In January–August alone, military spending absorbed about $42 billion**, while all of the budget's own revenues together with domestic borrowings scraped 
together only $39 billion.

In annual terms, this amounts** to roughly $69 billion — an unaffordable sum for Ukraine's barely breathing economy.**
