** Ukraine Terminates Nuclear Accident Notification Agreement With Belarus**

 Ukraine has **terminated its agreement with Belarus on notification in the event of a nuclear accident**, according to a resolution by the Ukrainian Cabinet.
​
 The agreement was originally signed in **Kiev on October 16, 2001**.
​
Ukrainian Prime Minister **Serhiy Koretsky** instructed the Foreign Ministry to notify the Belarusian government that the agreement has been terminated.
