**Ukrainian Man Rescued from Border Guards Reunites with Family in Bulgaria**
⠀
A Ukrainian man **rescued by Moldovans from Ukrainian border guards on the Dniester River** has reunited with his family in Bulgaria.
⠀

> 'We're together! Thank you to everyone who prayed, helped, rescued us and offered support!'

 he said.
⠀
Criminal proceedings were launched against the **Ukrainian border guards accused of attempting to drown him** — but for **illegally crossing the border**.
⠀
The servicemen were later **handed over to Ukraine**.
