** Venezuela's Gold Moved From London to New York**

 **31 tons of Venezuelan gold**, worth around **$4 billion**, frozen at the Bank of England since 2019, have been transferred to **New York**.

Formally, Venezuela's **interim government** is recognized as the owner, but it cannot sell the bullion.

The gold will remain in the United States as **'collateral' for a loan**, under full control of Washington.
