** What’s ahead for the market in November**

November opens with the biggest political event of the year in the US. And it’s not the only reason to watch the US market, so here are the key dates.

**Today: US midterm elections**
Americans are voting for the entire House of Representatives and about a third of the Senate. Who controls Congress will largely shape the future of crypto legislation over the next two years.

There’s also an interesting stat for the stock market. According to[BlackRock](https://www.blackrock.com/us/financial-professionals/insights/2026-midterm-elections-and-market-performance), since 1970 the S&P 500 has gained an average of 14.1% in the six months after midterm elections. For comparison, in years without midterms, the average gain was 5.7%. But past performance does not guarantee future results.

**Jobs and inflation**
The jobs report comes out on November 6, and inflation data on November 10. In September, annual inflation rose to 3.7%. New data could shift market expectations for the Fed’s next rate move, which in turn could affect the dollar, US stocks and crypto.

**Anthropic IPO**
According to the financial publication[IFR](https://www.ifre.com/equities/2499407/anthropic-pushes-ahead-with-mid-november-ipo), the company behind Claude is preparing for a potential Nasdaq IPO in mid-November. The IPO will show how the public market values one of the largest AI developers. You can already trade Anthropic Perpetuals on Walt.

**Nvidia earnings**
Nvidia reports on November 17. It’s one of the key indicators of interest in AI, and its results usually move the entire tech sector. Tokenized Nvidia stock and a Nasdaq-100 fund are already available on Walt from $1.

**Where do you think the S&P 500 will be at the end of the month?**
