[Microsoft Edge 157](https://winaero.com/microsoft-edge-157-stable-is-now-available/) is out. Some important changes:
* Improves launch performance on Windows 11 when the browser is already running in the background.
* It also ends support for Edge’s legacy direct Windows sign-in method, completing the transition to OneAuth; a small number of users may need to sign in again. Users can now sign in with an Apple account, and the Copilot New Tab page and sidebar have been updated.
* The dimming effect for inactive tabs has been removed, while tab pop-up cards now show clearer memory information and offer customization.
