Microsoft may soon add [new power controls](https://winaero.com/link-to-windows-may-get-options-to-shut-down-or-restart-your-pc/) to its Link to Windows app for Android, letting users restart, shut down or put a PC to sleep from their phones. Text lines found in the app suggest the feature is in development, but Microsoft has not announced it.

Users already can lock a PC from an Android phone, and the new options would expand that ability. The new feature could help people who forget to turn off their computers or need to leave a PC running for large downloads. Finally, Link to Windows won't be able to wake the PC from sleep.
