Following the preliminary results of the general elections in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Dodik's party, the SNSD, has won the presidency of Republika Srpska and secured a seat on the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina, strengthening its position in the country

**Željka Cvijanović,** who previously served as the Serb member of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina, won 55.6% of the votes, or more than 213,812 votes

**Savo Minić**, the Prime Minister of Republika Srpska, won 52.11% of the votes, or more than 263,429 votes

After 87% of the votes for the National Assembly of Republika Srpska had been counted, the SNSD (Alliance of Independent Social Democrats) had won 38.93% of the vote, securing an absolute majority in Republika Srpska
