π§π¬ Bulgaria: fire and explosions hit EMCO ammunition warehouse β second incident in a month
A fire broke out late on September 11 at an EMCO arms plant warehouse in Bulgaria, spreading to two additional storage buildings, Bulgarian media report.
The incident occurred in Gabrovo region near the village of Gorni Varpishta, where the site holds 11 warehouses in total. A series of explosions followed as the fire reached stored ammunition. No one was inside the warehouses β two guards managed to leave the area in time.
This is the second such incident at a Bulgarian military warehouse this year β another EMCO facility exploded in August. And of course, Western media are already trying to pin it on Russia.
