Hegseth has now forced out more than 20 senior U.S. military officials during his tenure at the Pentagon, through firings, removals and resignations.
The latest is Army Secretary Dan Driscoll, who tendered his resignation after months of reported clashes with Hegseth over Army leadership and readiness.
