🇺🇸🇾🇪🇾🇪 In today’s episode of Trumpian delusion:

“The Houthis called us, and they don’t want to fight with us.”

While I absolutely believe Ansarallah has no intention of unnecessarily targeting American assets at this time, I’m going to need some evidence that this supposed phone call actually happened.

But the more interesting part of Trump’s comments is what they reveal about Washington’s position.

The U.S. is apparently content, at least for now, to stay out of the fight while the Yemeni Armed Forces continue attacking one of Washington’s closest regional allies.

And Trump essentially acknowledged the arrangement today, saying Ansarallah is allowing most ships through and that there is only “one country that they’re not too happy with.”

That country is Saudi Arabia.
