🇮🇷 Iranian Navy: another damaged tanker spotted in the Gulf of Oman
Iran's Army Navy says its monitoring teams, which continuously track the area east of the Strait of Hormuz, identified a violating oil tanker at noon today that had caught fire and was left stranded in the Gulf of Oman.
In recent days, several other violating tankers were also reported to have caught fire. According to the Navy, they had tried to pass through prohibited areas with their transponders switched off, ignoring warnings to keep them on.
The statement adds that, despite the propaganda and hype from the "criminal president of America," the Strait of Hormuz is not open. Countries should not fall for these lies, and ships must coordinate with Iran's armed forces to pass safely.
