CNN reports that while it remains unclear who was responsible, a U.S. official claims the drones that struck Saudi pumping stations originated from Iraq.

In July, Riyadh blamed Iraqi groups for attacks on Saudi oil infrastructure. Saudi Arabia and the United States then launched joint airstrikes inside Iraq, including a strike on an Arbaโin guest station serving pilgrims near Karbala.
