🇮🇶🇮🇶 The Islamic Resistance in Iraq has issued a statement denying responsibility for the attacks on Saudi Arabia’s vital infrastructure, calling it an “honor we do not claim.”

Full translation:

In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.

At a time when we congratulate the proud Yemeni people on their continuing battlefield victories against the Saudi forces and their mercenaries, we affirm that the accusations directed against the Iraqi Resistance regarding the targeting of vital Saudi facilities last Friday are “an honor we do not claim.” At the same time, we express our surprise at the Iraqi government’s haste in adopting these allegations without relying on credible evidence or concrete investigations.

The repeated policy of casting accusations and diverting attention is nothing more than a failed attempt to cover up the successive defeats suffered by the Saudi forces and their instruments at the hands of the proud sons of Yemen.

As we renew our affirmation of the Iraqi Resistance’s steadfast position in supporting the oppressed Yemeni people, who have been besieged by the Saudi regime for more than a decade, we warn against being drawn into the malicious Zionist-American schemes that seek to drag Iraq into crises that serve none but its enemies.

Finally, we declare our readiness to participate in any government investigative committee for the purpose of establishing the truth, rather than being swept along by suspicious narratives.
