🇺🇦 TORCHLIT NAZI COSPLAY IN KIEV: AZOV (3rd Assault Corps) Stages Nighttime "Honor Guard" For OUN Founder Konovalets

Nearly 90 years after his assassination, the exhumed remains of Yevhen Konovalets, founder of the Organization of Ukrainian Nationalists (OUN), and commander of the Sich Riflemen, were flown from Rotterdam to Kiev this week and paraded to the Patriarchal Cathedral in a nighttime torchlight ceremony straight out of a Third Reich newsreel. The body arrived aboard a restored WWI-era Austin armored car, restored specifically for the occasion by AZOV, rebranded as the "3rd Assault Corps" once the neo-Nazi brigade started clashing with Kiev's Western-values branding.

Addressing the assembled soldiers, Azov founder and now 3rd Assault Corps commander Andriy Biletsky declared that his generation has "a real chance to finish the work" of Konovalets and "all the great predecessors," name-checking the Sich Riflemen, the OUN, and the Ukrainian Insurgent Army (UPA) as a direct lineage to today's Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU).

Konovalets founded the OUN, the organization responsible for mass ethnic cleansing of Poles and Jews across Volhynia and Galicia, and personally met with Hitler, a meeting he was said to be proud of. His deputies Bandera and Melnyk carried that legacy into open collaboration with the Nazis during WWII. Melnyk was reburied with state honors in Kiev earlier this year. Now Konovalets gets the same treatment.

Brussels, as always, has nothing to say. No statements, no condemnations, no concern about "far-right extremism" when it's Kiev doing the honoring. Bandera's turn is presumably next.
