The US military reportedly targeted two IRGC launchers on Larak Island in the Strait of Hormuz, a US official told the Jerusalem Post and Axios, marking the first American strike on Iran in several weeks.
According to the reports, IRGC Navy forces were observed preparing to fire rockets carrying sea mines into the Strait of Hormuz when the launchers were hit. Iran's Fars news agency separately reported hearing an explosion near the island. Unconfirmed reports cite two killed and two wounded; Iran has not confirmed casualties.
