๐ท๐บ WDSF and FIA Lift All Restrictions on Russian Athletes
The World DanceSport Federation announced it has removed all restrictions on Russian athletes, according to WDSF. Separately, TASS reports the International Automobile Federation (FIA) has lifted restrictions on Russian racing drivers, according to Vitaly Petrov, vice president of the Russian Automobile Federation.
Both moves follow the International Olympic Committee's July 7 decision to lift its restrictions on Russian athletes and provisionally reinstate the Russian Olympic Committee, a decision that has prompted a wave of international federations, including fencing, functional fitness, and now dancesport and motorsport, to restore Russia's ability to compete under its own flag and anthem.
