Asked about China face-offs on the LAC, an Arunachal minister had one tip: watch Dhurandhar.

Arunachal Pradesh minister Balo Raja told reporters in Itanagar today that India is "very strong" and pointed to the spy film Dhurandhar to show how far India's intelligence has come. ANI's clip has crossed 21,000 views on X and set off a wave of memes.

• India's official line (MEA, 23 Oct): the border gets disturbed when Chinese forces move away from established patrol patterns, and both sides are handling it through diplomatic and military talks
• Fact check: viral posts say the ITBP chief "admitted India is weaker than China". He did not. DG Shatrujeet Singh Kapur said traditional methods alone would make it hard to compete, and called for more drones and counter-drone systems

The minister called him a "DIG". Kapur is the Director General of ITBP.
Dhurandhar is a fictional spy thriller. India-China talks on the LAC continue.
